2013 - A New Year - a Hello and a few Farewells

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Claire to our swap group ;-)

and to say Farewell to SueB, JennyD & Raelene.

Since our formation in February 2011, we have had 25 people join in with our swaps. We will start 2013 with:

16 - Active swappers
1 - on leave

In April 2012, the Fat Quarter Swap Birthday Club was created.  As at January 2013 we have 15 people participating - imagine all those birthday goodies arriving during the month of your birthday  ;-)  Seeing all the wonderful Birthday FQs has been a genuine highlight for me.  

On a sad note, Since 2011, 6 have left the group, and even sadder, 

2 have been removed (failure to communicate with Swap Co-Ordinator and failure to swap)

Members are not removed or suspended on a whim, but failure to communicate and/or swap is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE. If you feel that it is OK not to communicate with your partner or the Swap Co-Ordinator, or it is OK to have one-sided swaps, then maybe this group is not the group for you.

I am looking forward to another year of swapping Fat Quarters and looking after this blog  - we have such a lovely bunch of people in this Swap Group and I am hoping we will grow in 2013!
